CANTORÍA
DE LA MERCED 

We founded Cantoría de la Merced on March 5, 2004. It has been a great adventure since then!

​

We have performed a wide and varied choral repertoire and a large number of musical projects, including numerous national, American and world premieres, mainly of Symphonic Choral repertoire.

​

Our project is characterized by the enthusiastic search for new challenges and learning. We understand music as a means to promote freedom and we consider choral activity as an optimal space for cultural development through expression and emotion.

​

During its almost 20-year history, Cantoría has toured numerously inside and outside the country, obtaining 15 awards in International Competitions in Argentina and Europe.

​

Our musical family is completed with our CHILDREN CHOIR, our YOUTH CHOIR (both conducted by María Paula Gómez and with the assistance of Cinthya Molina) , our STRING QUARTET and AMATEUR (our Symphony Orchestra).
